A free Michael Palin’s New Europe book! We are starting a series of competitions with some great prizes - books, travel guides, CD’s, short breaks and holidays! In the first competition we ask you to send in a short story about travelling in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tell us about your exciting itinerary, the hotels that you stayed in, restaurants you visited, or pass on your tips for other travellers. This is the perfect opportunity to put pen to paper and recount something from your trip!

The competition will start today (October 31), and we are allowing stories to be submitted until January 31st. We will review all stories and judge the winning entry on various factors such as helpfulness to other travellers, comprehensiveness, specificity and general flare, and announce the winner on February 10th. The winner will be notified by email and prize will be sent by post. All entries will be published online.
