The last year's visit of Spanish tour operators to Canton Sarajevo has already produced the first results. The majority of the tourist catalogues for summer 2007 now include destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely Sarajevo, Mostar and Medjugorje.

The catalogues offer the Spanish tourists the arrangements for touring Bascarsija, the Sarajevo war tunnel, Old Bridge, and other attractions.

Within the activities of presenting “Sarajevo European region of 2006” in November last year, some 30 Spanish tour operators had paid a four-day visit to Sarajevo , Mostar and Medjugorje.

Before leaving the country, the delegation said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a great historical past, natural and social resources, and a rich culinary offer that can satisfy the tourists from Spain and announced the addition of destinations from Bosnia and Herzegovina in their tourist offers.
