Croatian minister of maritime affairs, transport and development Bozidar Kalmeta and B&H minister of transport Bozo Ljubic signed the Protocol on Road Contact Points. The Protocol states that B&H is not disputing Croatia 's right to connect its territory with the Peljesac Bridge and Croatia is not disputing B&H right for an access to open sea.

There is no consensus on the content of the Protocol in the B&H Council of Ministers, but no one is disputing Croatia 's right. Some ministers demand for the bridge issue to be linked with the sea border issue. Minister Kalmeta said the preparations for building the bridge are going well and the government was getting ready for the first tender.
