Reconstructed Museum of the City of Sarajevo 1878 – 1918

The ceremonial opening of the reconstructed Museum of the City of Sarajevo 1878 – 1918 will take place at the corner of Zelene Beretke and Obale Kulina bana Streets. Through the CCA (Cluster Competitiveness Activity), USAID supported the recent reconstruction of the facade and the display in front of the building where the museum's symbol, illuminated display with large authentic images, and a TV screen constantly replaying the 1914 original record.

The Museum of the City of Sarajevo 1878 – 1918 is dedicated to the period of the Austro-Hungarian rule in Sarajevo. It is located at the site where the 1914 assassination of the Austro-Hungarian heir to the throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Princess Sophia took place.
