According to the Tourist Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina the results show that the year 2007 will be the new record year after the war regarding the tourism. The number of tourist arrivals amounted to 19.2 per cent in the first six months.

Tourists came mostly from Serbia (29,015), Croatia (24,264), Slovenia (15,750), Germany, Italy, Turkey, Austria, France and the USA. The total number of tourists amounted to 277,489 people. In the Republic of Srpska the number of foreign tourists increased by 23.3 per cent in the first six months. Tourists stay in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina for around two days, which is an average in most European cities.
