The number of tourist in Bosnia and Herzegovina is constantly growing, and the Tourist Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded 18 per cent more visitors than last year during the same period.

According to Arna Ugljen, the spokeswoman for the Tourist Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there was an increase of 16 per cent in the number of domestic tourists and 23.5 per cent foreign tourists in the first four months of this year, compared to the same period last year.  

According to statistics, in the first four months the most visited area was the Sarajevo county that had an increase of tourists of 12.7 per cent, while the number of overnight stays increased by more than 10 per cent compared to the same period last year. She emphasised that the Sarajevo region was visited by tourists from ninety countries.
