Egypt to actively engage its experts in exploring the Visoko pyramids

The First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture of Egypt, Anwar Ibrahim, announced a more active participation of the Egyptian experts in the project of researching the Visoko pyramid valley, the Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of Sun Foundation announced today.
At a conference in Cairo, where Semir Osmanagic, the Chair of the Board of the Foundation, presented the Project of Researching the Bosnian Pyramid Valley, Ibrahim emphasized the meaning of such projects for the development of friendly relations between the two countries, and announced to take a more active role in the project. He also offered assistance in translating the book by Osmanagic, entitled “ Bosnian Pyramid Valley ”, into Arabic.
After Osmanagic's presentation many archaeologists and Egyptologists who were present also took part in the discussion.
Dr. Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim Aly, the Egyptologist and archaeologist, who visited the Valley of Pyramids in Visoko last year, had stated that further research is necessary in order to determine the original architects of these colossal structures in Visoko, as well as their purpose.
Dr. Aly Barakat, the geologist who spent 42 days researching the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids last year, had told the audience about his own research analysis on the Pyramid of the Sun and the complexity of the underground tunnels. He said that geological proofs indicate that treated stone blocks, which are found on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, confirm beyond doubt that the blocks found are the work of human hands, dating from thousands of years of ago, much older than the medieval period.
Alaa Eldin Shaheen, the Dean of the Cairo University Faculty of Archaeology, offered the Foundation the expert help of their archaeologists and restoration experts. Oleg Borisovic, the Russian Academy of Science Institute for Physics representative, expressed a wish to help the Foundation with the geometric and seismic recordings at the sight of the pyramids.
The Egyptian Minister of Culture, Farouk Hosny, and the Secretary General of the High Council for Culture of Egypt, Gaber Asfour, were sponsors of Osmanagic's presentation. Anwar Ibrahim and Bosnia and Herzegovina Ambassador to Egypt, Radomir Kosic, were the organizers.
Apart form the Egyptian Ministry of Culture representatives and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Egypt , the conference was attended by the representatives of a number of embassies in Egypt , B&H students in Egypt , archaeology professors and other guests, the Foundation announced.
