If political leaders reach an agreement on police reform, B&H could submit a request for full membership in the EU in the first half of next year, i.e. during Slovenia 's presidency - Osman Topcagic, director of the B&H Directorate for EU Integration, said.

Topcagic and B&H foreign affairs minister Sven Alkalaj will attend a conference dedicated to EU expansion and Slovenia 's role in that process tomorrow. Topcagic emphasized the importance of B&H fulfilling the final condition for the Stabilization and Accession Agreement and applying for membership during Slovenia 's presidency.
