Bascarsija Nights 2007 Festival opens on July 1st with the traditional Viennese Concert on the central stage near the City Hall. The Festival is the biggest summer cultural event in the country. Every year, for the whole month of July, performances are held on the central stage opposite to the Town Hall and many open air stages in the old part of the city.

With rich programme, attractive locations and free entrance, the festival always attracts a great number of visitors. This year's festival includes 47 programs and more than 1600 performers with various concerts (classic, ethno, traditional, pop and rock), local and international theatre plays, folklore performances, art exhibitions, artistic and literary evenings, as well as educational programs for children.
